“No’ yer faul’.” he whispered, eyes on the floor. He closed his eyes with a wince, “We need ta ‘urry.”
Chloe hit the intercom to the dungeon on the way out of the room, calling to them to open a cell. She took his hand and moved quickly through the halls down to the dungeons. The guards there had a cell ready for him. ”I love you.” she whispered as they reached the cell doors.
“I love ya ta.” he said, giving her a quick kiss. “Now go.”
“But you did.” he said. “And it was amazing.”
She just glared at him without a word, not having anything to say to him. She’d never believe a word he said or doubt Alexandre.
He chuckled and leaned close, quickly nipping her lips before pulling back slightly. “Glare all you want, sweetheart, it still happened.”
She turned her face when he nipped at her lips, still staying quiet, arms crossed over her chest.
“What, nothing to say now?” he asked.
“Just this.” she growled, slapping him across the face harder than she had ever hit anyone.
He stumbled back in surprise, hand coming up to his cheek. He dropped to his knees and fell forward onto his hands, body shaking. “Ch-Chloe?”
“Alexandre.” Chloe breathed, rushing to kneel at his side. “I’m here, it’s okay.” she said softly, hand lightly on his shoulder.
“I need ta ge’ ta th’ dungeons.” he said, slowly getting to his feet.
Chloe nodded and helped him to his feet before quickly moving to the closets. She pulled on a t shirt and a pair of shorts and grabbed the same for him. She handed him his clothes and ran down the hall to Cordelia’s room while he was getting changed. She handed her sister Caoilainn’s baby monitor and told her that she was sleeping, but to take care of her if she woke up, not mentioning what was happening. By the time she got back to her room, Alexandre had just gotten finished getting dressed. She moved back into their room and was thankful to see that Alexandre was still in control. “I’m sorry I brought him out.” she said softly, reaching for his hand to go to the dungeons with him. Now that she had already had to deal with Zane, there was no reason she couldn’t at least make sure he gets down there and be with him until Zane fully took over again.

“If it wasn’t for the fact that Alexandre is still in there, I’d fucking kill you now.” she growled, eyes completely black with anger and body shaking. ”Don’t you ever fucking again threaten my children, because you will never get to them.”
He laughed. “Oh I will.” he said. “If I can imitate your precious Alexandre that well, you’ll never know if it’s me or him.”
“You think I’m that stupid, that I can’t see it in his eyes? In imitation of him will never be the real thing, and I’ll know. I can see the smallest flicker of you trying to get out.” she said.
“I guess we’ll find out.” he said, smirking. “For the record, I did get out on Mothers day. Him hitting the wall was me taking my leave.”
“No you didn’t.” she said, rolling her eyes at him. ”You didn’t get out, you tried, Alexandre won. Get that fucking smirk off of my husband’s face.”
“See here’s the thing.” he said. “I did.” He slid a hand up her thigh. “You’re a good fuck, especially when you get to screaming.”
She slapped his hand off of her thigh. ”I’d never scream for you.”
